ISO 9001
ABPmer’s quality management system (QMS) is ISO 9001:2015 certified for the delivery of Environmental Consultancy and Research Services.
The QMS comprises a manual of procedures to ensure standards for company systems and capabilities, outputs and customer care. It is subject to a continual programme of external and internal audit.
Cyber Essentials and IT Security
All IT infrastructure is subject to Group corporate security standards including passwords for network accounts, application security profiles where appropriate and physical security for mission critical equipment.
Infrastructure security is administered by the IT Service Delivery team.
User operational security is prescribed in a Group internal code of conduct for computer use.
ABPmer’s information systems have been independently assessed to comply with UK Government’s Cyber Essentials standard (Registration Number QGCE1061).
ISEP EIA Quality Mark
Since 2017 we have held the EIA Quality Mark, issued by the Institute of Sustainability & Environmental Professionals (ISEP) for our coordination of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and production of Environmental Statements.
Formerly known as IEMA, ISEP is the global membership body for sustainability and environmental professionals.
Organisations that hold the EIA Quality Mark have made a commitment to excellence in their EIA activities, as demonstrated by their adherence to seven key commitments relating to EIA management, team capabilities, regulatory compliance, context and influence, content, presentation, and improving EIA practice.
In our 2025 review, ISEP commended the culture at ABPmer as "very supportive, technically robust, with extensive opportunities for sharing EIA knowledge, lessons learned, and development insights."
Achilles UVDB
Achilles, a global supply chain risk management company, validates and prequalifies the capability, competence and compliance in various areas for buying organisations to build a picture of the risks present within their supply chain.
An Achilles auditor annually assesses records and evidence of our policies, systems, and controls for quality, environment, sustainability, health and safety. At our last review we scored 100% for each element.
Avetta
Avetta prequalifies and audits contractors as a means to manage supply chain risk. They make sure all compliance and regulatory requirements are active and up-to-date on behalf of buying organisations.
An Avetta audit annually reviews our policies, systems, and controls for quality, environment, sustainability, health, and safety.
